Exodus 12:12-13 “I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night and strike every firstborn male in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. I am Yahweh; I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. The blood on the houses where you are staying will be a distinguishing mark for you; when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No plague will be among you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.”
Protests over the death of a criminal in police custody turned into race riots and a state of emergency in the city of Baltimore, Maryland this week. Interestingly, this was not the death of ‘an unarmed black man at the hands of a white police officer’ as many on the left would like to beat away furiously at, but the death of a repeat offender who was in possession of a firearm. Echoing the violence that engulfed Ferguson last year, the demonstrators have an army of apologists defending them in the mainstream media and telling us that it’s okay since the police are racist, black people are poor and oppressed, and social justice. But in reality, what’s happening is an expression of ethnic identity by the African community of Baltimore. They are attacking white civilization in a way that is so plainly obvious that even they acknowledge that is what they are doing, even if their ideological allies on the white left do not. Given who the mayor of Baltimore is, it is unsurprising that her co-ethnics have gotten away with as much as they have in burning down and looting the city. One can hardly wait to see how the Obama-Holder-Lynch Justice Dept. will try to spin this one.
As diversity continues to enrich America, more and more of the country will become ungovernable as we currently understand government to mean. Incidentally, a smaller government footprint in black areas would likely reduce the frequency and intensity of protests/demonstrations/race riots, so perhaps it will all be for the best.
